Donation Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for receiving incoming donations and making the initial sort of hard and soft goods that are saleable and those to be discarded.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Responsible for greeting donors, unloading donations and offering receipt.
• Perceive problems related to donated goods and communicate to supervisor in a professional manner.
• Sort donations received:
o Sort and separate donations as categorized.
o Sort those items that are saleable and direct those items to the processing area.
o Sort those items that are damaged or otherwise do not meet quality standards and direct those items to be discarded.
• Keeps all records as required.
• Keep dock area and backroom work area clean and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Remove trash and operate.
• Utilize excellent customer service skills.
• Adhere to all safety regulations.
• Attend all store meetings as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Sales Supervisor Position
JOB PURPOSE:
The Sales Supervisor will assist the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager to insure the proper operation of the retail store. In the absence of the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager, the Sales Supervisor will perform all the specific duties required of the manager with the exception of hiring and terminating employees
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages the retail store engaged in selling a general line of merchandise ensuring goals are achieved.
• Adjust work schedules as necessary and assigns employees to specific duties.
• Appraises and prices house wares, furniture and “mark-up” textiles.
• Reports lack of donated goods early enough such that the transportation department deliver more goods before supply runs out.
• Monitors stock level of store merchandise and supplies and adjusts as necessary.
• Supervises employees engaged in sales work, reconciling cash with sales receipts, operating records, or preparing a daily record of transactions for accounting.
• Performs work of fellow employees on an as needed basis.
• Ensures compliance of employees with established safety, security, sales, product record keeping procedures and practices.
• Answer customer’s complaints or inquiries and resolves appropriately.
• Trains employees and volunteers
• Attends management meetings as required.
• Oversees quality of goods going to the sales floor.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience, Competencies and Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Mathematical skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Store Co-Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in supervision of assigned Retail Store, including daily activities of both the sales floor and processing department, assuring acceptable quality of goods are made available to the public in a safe, clean, attractive environment while meeting/exceeding sales goals. Prepares to take full responsibility for this or another store.
DUTIES:
-Assures adherence to all company policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbook, Cashier/Sales Associate Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures Manual.
-Assists in meeting production and sales goals on a consistent basis.
-Supervises, hires, fires and monitors performance of all Retail Employees at assigned location(s) as required.

-Assures accurate and timely payroll entry, sales and production reports and scheduling as required.

Administrative Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Definition: Working under the supervision of the Executive Director, the full-time
Administrative Assistant oversees and manages all office procedures and other tasks as
assigned by the Executive Director. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of general office coordination.
2. Maintain office calendar to coordinate work flow and meetings.
3. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, volunteer, and agency information.
4. Monitor and assist with maintenance of the organization’s website.
5. Interact with clients, vendors, donors, and visitors.
6. Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
7. Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
8. Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx or similarly delivered packages.
9. Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
10. Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing,
mailing and filing.
11. File and retrieve organizational documents, records and reports.
12. Coordinate and maintain records for staff, office space, telephones, company credit card and office keys.
13. Coordinate and direct office services, such as records, budget preparation, personnel and
housekeeping.

Volunteer Retail Assistants
Job Description
Community Storehouse has opened a new resale shop to help support our programs and services. We need volunteers to assist in the store 4 hours per week. This is a great activity for a group of two or three friends. Duties are to set up displays and assist customers in finding what they need. Store hours are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
