Help Keep Children in School With Your Time

Volunteering with Community Storehouse gives you so many ways that your time can make the difference in a child’s success in school. Be a part of working directly with the children, or take a role behind the scenes. Whichever you choose, we have opportunities for you to volunteer on your own, work with your family or friends, or even with your company. At Community Storehouse, we have ongoing volunteer opportunities at our various locations - day in and day out!

Volunteer

ALL volunteers are required to apply and be verified through our process, which may include a background check.

Please set up a profile, watch for confirmation emails (could go to junk mail), and set to receive our communications from Galaxy Digital and Community Storehouse.

Once that is complete, you may sign up for service opportunities – please read the qualifications for each, as some have age restrictions.

A link from ORANGE TREE, a new company we have hired, will come directly to each volunteer. This is a legitimate group and should be responded to as quickly as possible to ensure you are able to sign up in a timely manner. The link will expire within 4 days.

Please give this full process 3-5 days and watch to receive an email with full verification – THEN you can sign up for any opportunities on our site!

Any questions, please contact the Volunteer Manager at: volcoordinator@communitystorehouse.org

"I was raised in a church community where "Love your neighbor as yourself" was something we lived, not just read. And we were taught that loving means acting to meet the person's need, not just being aware of it. When I moved to Keller I found the Community Storehouse, a place that acts to meet the needs of our neighbors.  For the last 12 years, I have served in many ways. My favorite event is Christmas House because of the interaction with the clients. Hearing their stories and how they appreciate being able to give their children Christmas gifts, always fills me with the holiday spirit. I also work on many of the events that raise money for the programs we have and have led the Ladies of Hope, our women's group, for several years. These activities have introduced me to many friends who share the desire to give back to the community. I am so thankful that I found this organization many years ago and have been able to serve in so many ways."
