Meet The Leadership Team
Barbara has a proven record of success as a business owner/manager for seventeen years and with twenty-two impressive years as the only executive director the Community Storehouse has ever known. Barbara has taken this organization from providing food, clothing, and limited services for 50 families a month with a budget of $70,000 to providing comprehensive care to over 200 families a month with an operational budget of over $3 million. Visionary leadership with commitment has been a strong point of Barbara Board’s in achieving realistic goals and objectives and preparing a strategic plan for capacity-building for the future.
Megan who attended the Keller School Districts has a true passion for the community in which she grew up in. Gaining her Bachelor’s in Educational Psychology with an emphasis of families and the community, from the University of North Texas; she knows how important the future of the children in our community is. Megan worked as a Case Manager for two years and has been in development for 10 years. She knows the true need of this community and the importance of a child’s education. She oversees two major fundraisers; Community Storehouse Concert and Run in the Dark-5K and also a team of three other members. Her leadership and dedication to the Community Storehouse allow her to develop and maintain relationships with community partners that help to stabilize the income needed to support the children in our community.
Director of Sales
Brandon started with Community Storehouse as a volunteer in 2001. Once he was in high school, he worked in the resale store and as part of the hands team in the donation center. When he graduated from Keller High School, he attended Navarro College and then moved on to UT Arlington. In 2011, Brandon returned to Community Storehouse to help lead the resale department. Over the years, Brandon has moved from Resale Manager to Director of Resale to where he is now as the Director of Sales.
