Raise money and help a child succeed
The golden rule of fundraising is: You raise money when you ask for it. So ask and ask BIG! If you ask someone for $100, you might get $100, or you might get $75. If you ask someone or $10, you might get $10, but you probably aren't going to get more than $10. You don't lose anything if someone says "no" to your request, or gives you less than you ask for. But you are losing our if you don't ask in the first place, or don't ask for very much.
Once you have a goal, a list of potential donors, and an "ask big" attitude, you can begin fundraising. There are 3 important building blocks:
1. Your fundraising webpage
2. Fundraising Asks: Emails, letter, in person, and social media
3. Fundraising Activities: Parties or events
