Position Title: Assistant Store Manager

Reports to Store Manager

Job Description:

  • Alerts management of potential security issues.

  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.

  • Assist the Retail Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers.

  • Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, deliveries, and payments).

  • Track the progress of daily and weekly sales.

  • Monitor and maintain store inventory (e.g. furniture, decor, and impulse needs).

  • Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.

  • Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates.

  • Suggest sales to drive the business.

  • Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs.

  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning.

  • Handle complaints from customers.

  • Make sure all employees adhere to the company's policies and guidelines.

  • Act as our store's representative and set an example for our staff.

  • Able to open and close the store with integrity and honesty.

  • Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales by signing up on our text alerts, and social media.

This is a physical job at times. It requires moving furniture around the showroom floor, zoning and stocking items, and being flexible in the day-to-day operations of a retail store.

Position Title: Upscale Resale Associate 

Reports to Store Manager

Job Description:

  • Available full and part-time store associate positions.

  • Must possess the desire to learn new things, some moments with people challenging interactions.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with pleasant customer service.

  • Able to process sales transactions through a point of sale system.

  • Must have nights and weekend availability

  • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, customer service-oriented, positive attitude, and a team player.

  • Stocks and displays merchandise on the sales floor.

  • Customer service is key for us. Greet the customers in a pleasant manner,

  • Maintains store presence by organizing, arranging items, and other household maintenance.

  • Possess great customer service skills, high-quality work ethics, and the ability to perform their job with smiles on their faces. 


Position Title: Truck Team

Reports to Donation Specialist 


Community Storehouse runs two resale stores. One is located in Keller, Texas, and the other is in Fort Worth, Texas. Both stores help to raise funds thereby providing programs for the kids we serve in Keller, Carroll, and Northwest ISD's.


The truck team comes into play on the Resale side of the organization.  We provide a large furniture pickup service to our donors to gather large items they would not otherwise be able to donate due to the size of the items. The truck team does pickups and deliveries five days a week and stocks the store daily. The warehouse team receives, sorts, and prices the items that go to the stores. 


  • Must pass a background check

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • Must be 21 or older

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day

  • Must be able to stand, push, pull, bend, squat, and lift repeatedly throughout your shift

  • Must be able to work in all weather elements

  • Must work well and communicate effectively with others

  • Must be available 12-8 pm. The truck runs Monday-Sunday. 5 day work week. Required to work at least one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday

  • Not required but recommended to be bilingual

  • Not required but recommended to have experience driving large box trucks

Position Title: Donation Specialist

Reports to: Donation Specialist

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required or in the process of acquiring.

  • Experience working with the public and good communication skills.

  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to work under limited supervision and to work independently with others.

  • Ability to lead /supervise volunteers within the donation center.

  • Minimum lifting of 50lbs., repeatedly throughout the day.

  • Physical ability to work in all elements of weather.

  • Physical stamina to be moving throughout the shift.

  • Help maintain an organized and clean donation center and dock area.

  • Greet donors and assist with their donations if necessary.

  • Clean donations as needed.

  • Remove trash and recyclables daily.

  • Cross-train to other departments to help as needed.

  • Complies with all procedures relating to taking donations.

  • Shift hours: Monday-Saturday 8:30 - 5:30.

Position Title: Warehouse Pricing Merchandiser

Reports to Donation Specialist

There are currently openings for a merchandiser in the Donation Center for sorting and pricing clothing as well as household items.



  • Must pass a background check 

  • Help maintain an organized and clean pricing area.

  • Computer skills

  • Able to lift 25-50lbs.

  • Take out trash and recyclables daily.

  • Cross-train others including volunteers

  • Must be at least 18 years old 

  • Must be able to stand, lift, push, pull, squat the entire shift

  • Must be able to work in all weather elements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others

  • Must be able to work independently or with others

  • Must be available Monday-Saturday 9-530, must work Saturdays. 5 day work week. 

  • Not required but recommended to be bilingual 

  • Shift hours: Monday-Saturday 9-5.
