Donation Specialist Position:

 

 Identify, qualify, cultivate, and steward donors and prospective donors with the goal of soliciting and closing gifts from individuals, businesses, and corporations, in support of organizational priorities.

  • Develop and deliver results-driven strategic framework to retain donors, grow annual donations

  • Conduct 80 personal visits annually as part of the development moves management process to facilitate the closure of annual gifts from prospective donors.

  • Build a pipeline plan within assigned portfolio of prospects to encourage increased giving year over year, with a focus on direct giving to Community Storehouse.

  • Align and partner with corporate relations team to promote participation, leadership giving, and volunteer participation within our workplace.

  • Ensure 100% of assigned portfolio has at least one strategic and personal outreach annually.

  • Consistently document key conversations with prospects and donors into CS database.

  • Actively engage donors and prospects through established CS events, investment opportunities, volunteer opportunities and advocacy. Provide appropriate follow-up to move relationship forward.

  • Maintain solid understanding of CS programs and initiatives. Work with colleagues across the organization to develop customized giving proposals for key donors who may have an interest in funding a particular initiative.

  • Demonstrate exemplary stewardship by providing necessary and timely feedback on investments, program information, and progress toward CS’s mission and goals.

  • Utilize, as appropriate, a comprehensive solicitation approach to integrate CS Endowment opportunities into ongoing fundraising activity.

  • A Bachelor’s degree.

  • A minimum of three to five years of fundraising experience, with demonstrated success closing major gift commitments.

  • Demonstrated capability to identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations and private foundations.

  • Knowledge of and experience with the Ft Worth and North Texas philanthropic community desired.

  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assignments.

  • Excellent collaborator and team member, able to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize prospect tracking systems, donor databases and reporting tools.

  • Ability to set expectations, establish priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced development department.

  • Outstanding written communication skills—for proposal preparation, communications with donors, and reports (such as newsletters and annual reports)—and oral communication skills for individual and group interactions and presentations

Full-Time: Monday-Friday: 9:00-5:00
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events are scheduled

Marketing and Sales Assistant

 

Community Storehouse is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit serving low-income children in Keller, Northwest, and Carroll ISD's. We provide Educational and Nutritional Programs and support to children who otherwise, will not graduate from High School. We are the only Children's Charity in NE Tarrant County providing this level of Educational Programs. We are looking to increase our Development Team to include a full-time Marketing and Sales Assistant. The duties will include:

 

  • Annual Report

  • Serve as spokesperson for Community Storehouse at meetings and events

  • All Social Media Management; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Snapchat.

  • Electronic Newsletters and Annual Newsletter

  • All Publications for Events; Design, Layout Approval, Ads, etc

  • All Website Updates: Community Storehouse, Run in the Dark, Haunted House, Education Express, Concert, etc.

  • Scheduling of Appointments for Development Staff

  • Develop and maintain a filing system

  • Provide information by answering questions and requests

  • Handle multiple projects

  • Administrative duties

  • Produce and distribute correspondence letters, thank you notes to donors, emails, flyers, etc.

  • Coordinate mailing of all marketing pieces including bulk mail

  • Supply order including marketing material

  • Support development in event duties

  • take photos and maintain photo files for use in promotions and publications

  • Any and all other tasks assigned

Hours: Mon-Friday: 9:00-5:00
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed
Salary: $40,000-$42,000 Annually

Resale and Donation Department are Now Hiring Full-time and Part-time.

Our Resale team is looking to add a few smiling facing to work in our store. Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week, mornings and weekends. Full time is available at most times.
