Urgent Need for Holiday House

WE ARE RUNNING LOW!!
Holiday House Needs You

WE NEED ITEMS FOR AGES 13-18!
We are out of items for the teens of families coming in to "shop" for
their children and running low on our childrens items.

Holiday House is providing for over 1000 children this Christmas
season and we need your help to do it.
We need these items NOW.
Holiday House will be open until December 20.
Your donations are needed and appreciated.

We encourage gifts of all kinds to include gift cards that can be used by our teenage recipients
for food, clothes, entertainment, etc (i.e. Sonic, Kohl's, Blockbuster). Children have diverse interest
and in honor of this we support donations of all kinds including books, art supplies, musical
instruments, educational toys, dolls, sporting goods, and much more.

We are accepting toys Now - December 20, 2008.

Toys and other Holiday House donations can also be delivered to our Roanoke Office at
212 N. Oak Street, Roanoke, TX 76262 or 4574 Keller-Hicks Road, Keller, TX 76248.
Call 817-491-8800 to schedule delivery in Roanoke Monday-Thursday.

 

The Holiday House Special Program is located at our Client Services facility in Roanoke. Immediately following Thanksgiving, we transform this location into a “Toy Store” for clients to shop for their children.

Our Holiday House toy store was developed by listening to our clients. They wanted the opportunity to “shop” for their own children. Our toy store allows these parents to maintain their dignity and be able to provide a happy Christmas for their children.

The success of Holiday House depends on donations of new, unwrapped toys as well as volunteers to work the Holiday House. Donations of wrapping paper, tape, ribbon and bows are also appreciated.

  • Donate new (unwrapped) toys to Holiday House for ages 0-18 years, or organize a Toy Drive. Holiday House toys can be delivered to our Roanoke Office at 212 N. Oak Street, Roanoke. We are able to accept toys November – December 22, 2008. Call 817-491-8800 to schedule delivery in Roanoke Monday-Thursday.
  • Volunteer opportunities include setting up the toy store, working the toy store to assist clients in choosing toys, wrapping toys and entertaining children while their parents select toys. Groups or individuals are also welcome to entertain clients by singing, playing musical instruments or bringing refreshments. 12-15 people are needed each night from 5:30 PM – 8:15PM.
