OVERVIEW

The Community Storehouse provides effective services in response to the growing needs of the families in varying crisis situations through comprehensive client care.

We are a non-profit charitable agency (501-c-3) dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families in temporary crisis.  On average we see 150 -200 families (450 -600 children) per month.

We cover the Keller Independent School District and the NWISD area (Haslet, Roanoke, Justin, Wise County). The KISD serves portions of the cities of Colleyville, Ft. Worth, Hurst, North Richland Hills, Southlake, Watauga, Westlake, and all of the city of Keller.

Emergency Food: If a client is unable to present the paperwork listed below during their first meeting with us, to qualify for assistance, we will provide emergency overnight food. This will allow clients to come back the following day with their necessary paperwork.

Celebrating our 25TH anniversary in 2007, Community Storehouse was established so no child would be hungry or have to drop out of school to work. The Community Storehouse is a local nonprofit relief organization whose mission is “Dedicated to the well being and education of the children in our community.” Our focus continues to be on caring for the needs of the children to help guarantee their success in school and to achieve graduation. Our service area includes portions of Tarrant, Denton and Wise Counties where over 4,000 school-aged children in the Keller and Northwest Independent School Districts qualify for our assistance.
