CLIENT SERVICES
Client Services (817) 491-8800
At our Client services office we offer comprehensive care for families that are experiencing a sudden emergency crisis. When clients first come in, they are met in a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Our receiving area functions as an Information center, supplying resources and a variety of informational handouts and reading materials, along with a play area for the children This is done so the clients can freely explore the resources in a calm environment as they are waiting to meet with a Case Manager (CM).
Upon meeting with a CM, they will review the current family crisis, budget, and area of needs for the children and the family. The full situation is assessed, and with the family a plan is made as to what they will need to do to stabilize their situation. The families are encouraged to meet with the CM’s at least one a month to work together on their plan and in their efforts to become stable. We become the encouragement and empowerment part of their team.
In assisting with the plan, we provide guidance, resources, collaborations, food, clothing, and financial assistance. In addition, we provide Special Programs such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Summer Lunch, School Supplies, and Lending Library. We also host Special Family Events, such as Snow day, Picnic, Fall Fun, etc…We are here to provide the support and services the family is needing to achieve stability through their crisis, and provide the basics necessary to maintain the well being of children. In addition to these programs, we began our first Camp Community Storehouse Summer Reading Program this past summer. This program allows children who are struggling or behind their grade level in reading the opportunity to work directly with certified reading teachers during summer break.
