NEWS UPDATES

Over the past 24 years Churches have helped the Community Storehouse with: 

·         Food

·         Clothing and household donations

·         Financial support.

·         Volunteers 

We would like to call upon you to increase your support to the families we help. In 2000 we were assisting: 

·         45-50 families a month with food, clothing, and limited financial assistance. 

This year we are assisting: 

·         Over 200 families a month, not counting the children from the KISD and NW ISD areas who are being referred to us, with:

1.)   Medical, dental, eye care, and prescriptions.

2.)   Emergency housing due to abandonment of a spouse.

3.)   Rent/Mortgage Assistance

4.)   Utility Assistance

5.)   Counseling Sessions

6.)   Training Classes at our donated location in Roanoke.

7.)   Resources from other agencies

8.)   Food/Clothing 

Our increase this year is up 55% from last year. We need your help to continue handling this growth volume.
