FOOD

Community Storehouse is always in need of food donations. We rotate our menus in order to get the food we receive into the hands of those who need it. We also purchase food from the Tarrant County Food Bank weekly in order to meet the needs of families in crisis.

Organize a Food Drive
Experience has shown that doing a food drive for specific items is very successful. Feel free to contact us and see what items we are in need of in the pantry. We also stock toiletries, paper towels and toilet paper.

Grocery Store Reward Programs
Tom Thumb shoppers link your rewards card to Community Storehouse #1258, then each time you use it, Tom Thumb will automatically credit the storehouse with a percentage of the sale.

Volunteer in the Community Storehouse Food Pantry
Our food pantry is located on Keller-Hicks Road in Keller. Pantry volunteers receive and shelve donated and purchased items, arrange and straighten pantry shelves, prepare food boxes, load groceries in client’s vehicle, log food donations and give receipts when needed.

Volunteer at the Tarrant County Food Bank
You can donate your time to the Tarrant County Food Bank on behalf of Community Storehouse and bank your time on our account. This gives us credit each week when we purchase food for our local pantry. To volunteer you must be 16 years or older, wear closed toe shoes, have three people in your group and you are asked to work a three hour shift. Contact Joann Biggers at the food bank at 817-332-9177 x109 for more information or to sign up.

Contact Dorothy Lamb, our pantry and office manager at csadassist@yahoo.com or 817-431-3340 for information about the pantry.
